Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is cool. It is a day when you get to hang out with family, watch parades, eat food, watch football, and have a great time. Some of the things I like about Thanksgiving are eating food all day. You get to have cookies, cake, brownies, crackers, and ham rolls. Another thing I like is watching football since I love football. Thanksgiving is a good time to watch football with my dad, brother, uncles, and grandpa.

Thanksgiving is also known for shopping. I like looking through the ads and finding which stores my uncle, sisters, and me want to shop at on Black Friday and what we are going to get. We also figure out what time we are going to leave in the morning which is usually 3 am, I think.

Halloween is Weird

Halloween is a kind of weird holiday. It is a day where kids dress up and go from house to house with bags and get candy. Then they go home and count their candy and sometimes trade that candy they don't like with their friends for candy they do like. Before Halloween comes, they carve pumpkins into faces and put up cool decorations that can sometimes be scary.

There is one person in our neighborhood who decorates with a graveyard with a dead person coming out of the ground. There is a myth that if you look at a full moon with no craters, you turn into a werewolf, but I don't believe it although some people do. I just think that's weird but if it happened to me, I would be very upset. Around Halloween it is pretty cold outside so when I go trick or treating, my costume will be nice and warm. Maybe I will dress up as a werewolf.
